A Stampin' New Years Eve!

Well -- not entirely! But, a small portion was devoted to stamping almost 200 envelopes to send out for Cecelia's school gala! I've been busy volunteering with that so I'm glad the kids were able to help! Caroline managed to stamp 20 envelopes by herself! I was pretty impressed that my little Caroline could do that! She was so proud of herself too! Yes, some were upside down, but that's OK!

We seemed to get a lot accomplished depite it being New Years Eve. My big thought on this holiday is that it's just not the best holiday for parents with small kids. It's more of a "stay in" holiday which honestly isn't so different from other weekday or weekend evenings! Jeff blew the leaves outside (a warm -- well, warmer, day finally!), and we did manage to get some take-out from Unos! Yum! Jeff has gone gluten free (not sure if I mentioned that or not) and Unos surprisingly had gluten free pizza! Our kind of pizza place!

Also, when the kids went to bed at 7:30 we did a little "count down" with confetti! The girls thought it was neat!

Jeff and I watched "It's Complicated" and laughter filled out evening! Such a funny movie -- we saw it last year in the theater, but decdied to rent it again to have a good laugh! Then we watched the ball drop -- I'm surprised we didn't fall asleep before that happened!

Happy New Year! We hope 2011 brings happiness and joy to your lives!
