Time after time

Play Me!!!

One of my new favorite movies has to be Julie and Julia. I don't know if it's the music or simply the fact that the two copules featured in the movie truly love each other. Look at Julia and Paul Child -- forever in love. They went through the big trial of not being able to have a child yet their love surrvied. Paul loved his wife. She was the "bread to [his] butter and the breath to [his] life." Julie and Eric Powell also loved each other. According to their friends they were the "ones." Yes, they had their arguements, but their love brought them back together. He supported her in everything that she did.

I just watch the movie and realize how much I'm truly in love with my husband. He is my best friend and my "rock." I'm sure all of you have realized by now that the kids have put major stress on my life recently and to tell you the truth if it wasn't for Jeff (and the support of my parents -- have to mention them!) I don't know how I'd be getting through things. When I got married I think I was too young to realize how much of a committment marriage is and how tough it is to really stick by each other through good times and bad times. Now almost 9 years later I'm finally realizing what God intended marriage to be and why it is so important in life. We need a companion, friend, fellow parent, to help us. We cannot do it alone.

I love you Jeff -- I love you for loving me. And, to quote the song, I'm "so lucky to be loving you."

  1. awww...thats so sweet!!! I feel the same about my husband :) I think seeing them as fathers and watching them take care of us gives us an even deeper appreciation and love for them that we could never have known when we were dating! It just keeps getting better
