So, it's that time of year again where I swallow my pride (or what's left of it) and
embarrass myself in front of dozens of strangers that I hope I'll never see again to get a free meal for me and the kids. Yes, you guessed it -- it was Cow Appreciation Day at my favorite fast food joint -- Chick-
Fil-A! So, the girls, Colin, and I dressed up like cows -- complete with white trash bags and headbands with black "ears" stapled on. What a site we were! I was a bit nervous (even though I did this last year) but was relieved to find other stay at home moms with double strollers dressed as cows. I actually even got a compliment on our costume idea saying that they wish they thought of that -- that made me feel like a super mom!
Well -- it was fun getting the kids ready. Caroline and Cecelia had fun putting together the costume and couldn't stop saying "
Mooo" over and over again. Cecelia even made the joke (not sure if you remember from last year...) -- how about we have hamburgers and french fries? She then said -- wasn't that funny, mom? :) Too cute!
Here is a picture (hard to get one with all the people at the restaurant). Check out Colin w/the teal headband!
haha Cecelia insisted that he have her favorite color! We didn't eat there as we had to get home and wait for the repair man to come give us a new hot water heater -- oh well -- such is life!
Have a wonderful weekend!
