Where did the water go?

So, the week started out uneventful, but little did I know we'd be without water by the days end. I heard drilling outside and saw a city utilities truck. Of course nosey me went outside and asked what was up -- water main break (it's been sooo cold here!). This was at 4pm. They said the water would be turned off w/in a half and hour -- so I quickly gave the two girls a bath (very quickly). They got out in time, but I was washing my hands and still had soap on them when the water turned off. It was supposed to be a quick fix, but by 6:30 they still hadn't found the break and said it'd take several more hours. So, we were off to Grandma and Pop Pop's for the night (minus Daddy who didn't feel like commuting an hour the next morning from my parents house -- don't blame him!). I needed fresh water to clean my contact lenses that night plus I wanted a nice hot shower! It was fun for the kids to see them so it worked out well -- we then stayed until mid-morning the next day before we headed home. Quality time w/Pop Pop was enjoyed by all!

I also put a picture of Cecelia holding up her new favorite snack today (hint for Grandma Miller!), Ants on a Log! It's simply celery, peanut butter and ants (aka raisins). A friend told me about this and then Cecelia informed me that ZeFronk (a cartoon chef on playhouse disney that shows preschoolers how to make healthy treats) made it the other day. Too cute!
