Bend it like Beckham? or should I say Bend it like Hamm?

That's Mia Hamm. OK -- maybe Cecelia isn't a world class soccer player, but she sure is trying hard! Cecelia's first game is this weekend, but last Saturday she participated in a soccer camp for her division. It was really a great event and wonderful to see her so into soccer. The goal of the event was to get all the 4 and 5 year olds familiar with the sport and it really hit home for Cecelia. She now dribbles really good and won't touch the ball with her hands. She even almost scored a goal -- and that's impressive because she was one of only three girls in her group of 10 kids -- the boys are really aggressive! I guess it starts early huh? haha

The next day we went to our church picnic. It was a lot of fun, but really sunny -- the temp was only 75 or so, but out in the middle of the field the sun was pounding down! Poor Caroline was all red in the face. But, needless to say we all had a nice time. It was free for one thing (haha) and they had some nice activities for the kids. I attached a picture of the girls and me on the "train." Colin slept through the whole thing :) Oh, speaking of Colin, here ia a recent pic of Colin -- Cecelia took it!
