Well, it's official -- we've made it through the first four weeks (or as Jeff and I like to call it -- "new parent initiation"). The truth is, you never know what cards you will get dealt -- every child is different. Will he be good/bad sleeper, good/bad eater, etc. So far so good with Colin. OK, the first week wasn't so hot -- seriously! But, things have gotten a little bit better (thanks to help from family and friends!!) We are now used to our family of five (when you ask caroline how many people are in our family she holds up five fingers and says "five" -- too cute!!) and are all in love with Colin. How blessed are we to have a healthy baby boy who is happy (for the most part -- fussy a little, but no baby is perfect!!) and eats well. No matter how crazy it gets in this house (this was my first week by myself and it was crazy!!) I still find myself, at least once during the day, thanking God for my wonderful life.
