Just wanted to put some more updates on the blog (now that I actually have time!). Cecelia celebrated a birthday a week ago -- she turned 4! It was hard to believe that four years ago we had just one newborn. If you asked us then if we thought we'd have two more within four years I'm sure we would have answered "no way!" Funny how things turn out :) Well, Cecelia had two parties; a family party and a "friends" party. The family party was a few days before her actual birthday and her friends party was a week later. The later consisted of a Build - A - Bear party complete with a visit to the store and then a teddy bear picnic in a garden here in town (too cute!). The Build-A-Bear party went well except for the fact that Cecelia was in tears and scared of the "stuffing machine." What a disaster! Go figure this would happen! Luckily she calmed down and after asking the "party leader" if the machine was going to turn on again for the millionth time we were finally done and could get on to the picnic. That went much better! Complete with pizza and juice (a favorite for any four year old) and presents of course...the picnic was a hit! I attached a picture of Cecelia at Build-A-Bear.
I also put in a picture of Cecelia and Caroline in the tub -- check out Cecelia's hair! She'll actually let me wash it now - I told her about the "spa" and we pretend that she's at the spa. She repeats "so relaxing" over and over while I wash and rinse her hair! So funny what you will do to get kids not to cry in the tub!
As for Caroline she is doing well -- she has a new word..."nana" which means banana and she is climbing on EVERYTHING. Ugh!
Colin is just four weeks old and currently snuggling in daddy's arms as I write this. I'm finding Jeff more interested in Colin than he has been with the girls when they were this young. You think it's a "boy" thing? :)
I'd like to go ahead and verify that it was a definite "NO WAY" when considering having more kids after Cecelia!!! (But I'm glad you did!) :)
