How does the sheep go?

One of the first "tricks" we taught our kids was to do animal noises. This usually starts around 15 - 16 months and the first animal is the sheep. Cecelia and Caroline were quick to pick up the noises and Caroline especially loved the sheep. We'd say, "How does the sheep go?" and she'd respond with "Baaaa!" and a huge grin. She got so good at this noise that when she'd get "lost" in the house we'd simply yell out "How does the sheep go?" and a quiet or loud (depending on her location) "Baaaa!" would be heard and there was Caroline. She was simply too young to understand "where are you?" and respond "right here!" So this was our easiest wayt to locate the little munchkin!

So -- now Colin is at the age where he can start with the animal noises. I think he understands the "Baaaa" but gets a sheep and a cow confused. So, if we say "How does the sheep go?" he'll sometimes say "Moooo" or "Baaaa" or sometimes none of the above! Depends on his sillyness mood I guess. So, maybe he really desn't know the noises per say-- but the little man is trying :)

I attached a cute photo of him in a sweater that I actually purchased on clearance at Lord and Taylor earlier this year. The funny thing is that it was the day of the start of the second blizzard. It wasn't sticking -- just snowing really hard, so during nap time I headed over and hit the sale! When I was picking out the sweater it was hard to think so far ahead to when he'd be wearing it -- and now here he is! Perhaps another Handsome Handyman in the making? OK -- I'll stop!
