So, I'm not sure if many of you know this but I was crazy about tennis growing up. I played throughout high school and loved every minute of it (did I mention I was MVP senior year? :o). So, naturally when I found out about "tennis for tots" I jumped on it! Cecelia started tennis camp this week. It's called a "camp" but I'm not sure if it truly qualifies since it's only 45 min/day for 4 days. I think consecutive days make it a camp... Anyhow -- enough rambling! She and three other "tots" participate in fun games and attempt (notice I use the word attempt) to hit the ball over the net. They are just about 4 feet from the net and try to hit it over. Too cute! Cecelia "whiffed" a whole lot, but today she actually manged to strike the ball and coast it over the ominous net! Move over Steffi Graf! (you can tell I played tennis 10 years ago right?) Here are a couple of cute pictures!
Oh -- if you notice I outfitted her in a cute tennis skirt and shirt (couldn't resist the clearance sale at Sports Authority!) and she picked out a Barbie tennis racket (it was on clearance too!) that came with a Barbie bag, Barbie water bottle and pink tennis balls! haha
