Hot Egg Hunt in the City!

What a beautiful day! It's currently 82 degrees here! A perfect day for an Easter egg hunt! Jeff took the day off so we took all the kids to a free egg hunt sponsored by the city and Chick Fil A (one of my fav fast food joints!). There were balloons, temporary tattoos, bubbles, candy...everything little kids love! So, whatever makes children happy makes parents happy! As a side note -- we just had a Harris Teeter open up down the street. Now, I'm a die hard Wegmans shopper, but lately I've been making the trek to Harris Teeter for one big reason -- kid friendly! They have balloons, cookies, and tons of samples! Makes shopping with three kids a breeze! OK - back to the egg hunt. They had several "rounds." Caroline went first (the 2-3 yr old round) and then Cecelia went second with the 4 and 5 year olds. It was at our local high school football field and festive music was blasting over the loudspeaker. Imagine little Caroline and the "Hamster Dance" music blaring in the background (click here!). She was dancing away. The cutest thing you've ever seen!

All in all the girls did pretty well! Caroline got more eggs, but let's face it -- 2 year olds are less aggressive than kindergartners! Here are some pictures! Stay tuned for Easter egg dying pictures tomorrow!

Caroline is getting ready to go!

Check out those tattoos!
