Well, it took 6 years, but we finally made it back to George Mason for a basketball game. A lot has changed -- it was actually crowded! And classes aren't even in session! And...the pep band was actually really good (sorry, Jeff -- but he'll even admit it too!). Caroline had a blast (as you can see from the picture) but Cecelia ...well, let's just say she was a little "overwhelmed." That look in the picture remained on her face the entire 2 hrs. Caroline even fell asleep for 45 minutes with all the noise! Needless to say we had a nice family outing on a rainy Saturday.
A lot has changed since I've been to a basketball game -- I'm not just there watching Jeff in the pep band and having fun with friends -- I was now there with my wonderful husband and children.
