No, as most of you know, we are not huge football fans. However, this year we've kind of gotten into it because of Cecelia. Her teacher used the Redskins wins and losses (obviously losses were dominant this year!) as a teaching mechanism. Cecelia even knew all the words to the fight song (multiple verses!).
Anyhow, since the Redskins didn't make it to the Super Bowl, and since some of Jeff's family reside in Wisconsin (and send us Packer things!) we decided to cheer them on!
The kids were excited as we prepared for our Packers party! We had "football food" including chicken wings (organic ones we deep fried ourselves!), chili cheese dip, and a veggie tray. We had Packer themed decorations (balloons and pictures Cecelia drew). And finally we had (my favorite!) Packers (and Steelers) cupcakes from our favorite cupcake shop!
