And the egg rolls on...

If I haven't mentioned it before, Cecelia's favorite color is teal. She absolutely loves that color. Teal balloons, balls, bubble containers, you name it -- she LOVES teal! So, today ended with the timeless tradition of dying Easter eggs. And can you guess which color they had in the box? Yes, teal. Jeff put the vinegar into each glass and then Caroline and Cecelia placed the color tablets and watched the "fizz". And you know kids -- they just can't watch -- they have to touch things! And Cecelia kept mixing up the colors and fooling around with the glasses until... one of the glasses dumped onto the floor (the table had newspaper, but not the floor). And guess what color it was? Yes, teal. So, everything was teal -- and boy did it splatter everywhere. The brunt of it, though, got on Cecelia! Her legs and feet were teal. Of course she went nuts (tears of sorrow because there would be no teal egg!), but everything ended up working out. That tablet was more of a bluish teal, and another tablet proved to be more of a brilliant teal color, so it all worked out...in the end. The cool part was that there was this "magic" crayon in the egg dying box (really just a wax crayon) that the dye didn't stick to. So, we wrote all the family names on their respective egg. Look at what color Cecelia has...and Cecelia placed her egg right next to Pop Pop -- who else? :)
