Idol on my mind

OK - this is a record - two posts in one day!



Jeff and I have been big American Idol fans for some time now (probably since the beginning). However, I must admit I've only voted one time the entire time I've watched it (that would be for Clay Aiken in the wildcard round years ago!). We thought we were going to throw in the hat this season, but as of Tuesday we are back! Jeff is a fan of Crystal and I'm supporting Siobhan and Lee DeWyze. The way to do it though (just ask my dad) is DVR the episode and fast forward through the parts you don't want to see. We can get through a 2 hr episode in 20 minutes -- seriously!



Another show we've recently gotten into is Parenthood. Now, this is quality programming. It's a show about a family, two grandparents, their children and then their grandchildren. It has an all star lineup including Craig T. Nelson and Lauren Graham (from Gilmore Girls) and it discusses modern day family issues which Jeff and I can somewhat relate to or will in the future. It's on Tuesday nights at 10pm.
