This weekend the weather was nice again! Almost 60 degrees yesterday! The day coudln't have been better as we made it through the entire Mass in the morning (with Caroline and Cecelia that's always a challenge), had a nice breakfast out, and then a fun "surprise" in the afternoon. We decided to enjoy the great outdoors and do a fun "kid" activity of feeding the ducks at Colvin Run Mill. Jeff and I remember doing this as kids and thought it'd be fun for Cecelia to do. I attched a picture of Cecelia throwing bread at the ducks -- she was too cute in saying "Come on ducks, eat the bread!" every time she threw a piece!
Then, instead of watching the Super Bowl, Jeff was such a wonderful husband (I'm being serious here!) and helped me take down the rest of the wallpaper glue from the girls' bathroom. I scraped and he "touched" up behind me. It is finally ready to be spackled, primed and painted -- then I can start decorating! Then it's on to the glue removal in our bathroom -- yuck! OK, correction, we did DVR the Super Bowl and watched the brief moment of the halftime show where Bruce slid into the camera. Seriously though, where was Born in the USA?
Today the girls and I saw Mr. Skip, a kids musician, in town (he actually was a performer at the Childrens Inaugural Ball a few weeks ago). I love how the city provides free preformances for kids -- Cecelia loved it and Caroline, well, let's just say she enjoyed eating some apples while her sister danced to the music.
